Synthetic Hair is a fiber that is great for a person on the go because it retains its style. There are two types of synthetic fibers: Heat Friendly Synthetic and Regular Synthetic. A regular synthetic fiber requires minimal care and/or little to no styling. Keep in mind no heat can be applied to a regular synthetic fiber. On the other hand, a Heat Friendly Synthetic is ready to wear out of the box but can also be heat styled.

What is monofilament? A monofilament piece will give you the illusion of natural hair growth and parting versatility. Monofilament pieces are offered in different sizes. If you are looking for the most natural look, we recommend a full mono top. While a partial mono and a crown monofilament piece cover a smaller area they still provide movement and parting options. The full mono tops are also great for individuals looking for pieces with less perma-tease to them.

Basic caps are a great option, despite the word “basic”. Many beautiful wigs are constructed with a basic cap and usually go unnoticed as a wig. Their convenience is unmatched by any other construction, as you may simply remove it from the box, shake and wear…simple as that! Aside from their very reasonable price compared to other cap constructions, basic caps have the most volume, especially in the crown area. Many wig wearers have experienced a feeling of “overheating” when wearing wigs. Basic caps have open wefting and allow for better air circulation, thus preventing the feeling of “overheating”.

Extensions are a fun and flirty way to change up your look. Extensions are great for adding volume, length or color to your look. Our extensions do come in different styles. We offer clip-in, halo, color and wefted extensions. Keep in mind some extensions can be customized. Wefted extensions can be customized and adhered by a professional stylist. On the other hand clip in extensions are ready to go and need you to only snap the extension in. Extensions will also come in human hair, synthetic and heat friendly synthetic fibers. For longer lasting results, the different hair fibers should be cared for with the corresponding hair products.

When picking a care product it is crucial to know what hair type you are caring for. If you have a human hairpiece, we recommend our Beautimark Human Hair care products. We DO NOT recommend human hair products for your biological hair. Using shampoo and conditioners for biological hair on a wig, could have adverse results. If you have a synthetic, heat friendly synthetic or a blend of premium synthetic and human hair, we recommend using our Beautimark synthetic hair products. Our experts are great with color assistance, as they go through extensive color training. However, we also offer color rings and a tru-color match chart.  Our color rings come by manufacturer; this means, you need to know the style you want in order to get the related color ring. Our tru-color charts can be found on our website, this chart allows you to view the colors in their entirety on a mannequin before making your purchase. When color matching you also have the option to send in a hair or color sample you like to an expert for the best match. This can be done via email or post.
